Garlic Bread with Cheesy Dip

Hello All,

I am back with an interesting recipe!I loved Dominos' garlic bread with cheesy dip until I tried it at home and it turned out to be exactly same as Dominos.I only baked cakes and never made any bread in my OTG.But I must say your OTG can prepare amazing breads if you follow the recipe exactly as it is.Making breads is an easy process but takes 24 hrs of prepartion time.But thats the way its made in bakeries as well.So do try the below recipe and post your doubts in the comment section below.



Ingredients:-

150 gms-All purpose flour
100 gms-Wheat flour
2 tspn-Active Dry Yeast
2 tspn-Sugar
100 gms-Salted butter(Amul)
2 tspn-Olive oil
4 tspn-Finely chopped Garlic
Oregano seasoning as per taste.
Salt as per taste.

Method:-

  • Take 2 cup water in a bowl and add the active dry yeast in it.Mix until dry yeast dissolves in water.
  • To activate yeast,add sugar and all purpose flour.Mix it with the help of spoon and rest the mixture aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • After some time, you will find bubbles in the mixture and the mixture will become more consistent.
  • Now add olive oil,wheat flour,butter,garlic,lots of oregano,salt and all purpose flour to form a thick dough.Use oil to bind the dough together instead of using flour.Only oil can bind it better.
  • After kneading the dough, apply some oil to a bowl and place the dough in it with a thin plastic wrap covering the entire dough as shown below:


  • Place the dough in refrigerator for 18 to 24 hrs(compulsory to refrigerate it for this much time).
  • Next day, you fill find that dough is now double in size.Remove the dough and take medium portions from the dough to make the garlic bread.
  • Sprinkle some flour on a flat surface and pat the dough to give a shape as shown below:


  • Make small cuts in the flattened dough without cutting it completely as shown below:



  • Apply some butter on top of dough and sprinkle oregano over it.
  • Place the bread in a baking tray and in the preheated oven for 15 minutes at 180 degrees celsius.

Your Garlic bread is ready to be served with Cheesy dip!

Recipe for Cheesy dip:

Ingredients:-

2 tspn-Olive oil
1- Finely chopped onion
150 gms-Cheese
2 tspn-Oregano
1 cup-Water

Method:-

  • Take olive oil in a non stick pan and add onions to it as shown below:

  • Let the onions get cooked until they become translucent.
  • Add cheese, water and oregano. Mix everything well until the cheese melts.You can add water if cheese sticks to pan and let it cook until the mixture becomes thick as shown below:

Cheesy dip is ready!
