COCONUT BARFI

Hello All,

Today I am posting a sweet dish after a long time giving a break to the lovely Moghlai recipes.I have chosen this recipe as making coconut barfi is the easiest,mouth watering and fastest sweet dish one can prepare.Most of all it requires only four ingredients.It is a konkani sweet but I have been having it since childhood.



Ingredients:

125 gms- Dessicated coconut
125 ml- Milkmaid
1 tspn-Cardamom powder
Chopped dry fruits to garnish.


Method:


  • Take a non stick pan and heat on a low flame for a minute.

  • Add dessicated coconut and Milkmaid.Mix well.

  • Cook the mixture well until it changes it's color.
  • Now add the cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Cook the mixture well to form a uniform consistency.
  • Now place the mixture when hot in a tray as shown below and garnish with dry fruits.

  • After the mixture in tray cools,cut the barfi in desired shapes.

  • Your fresh and juicy coconut barfi is ready to be served.
