Bread Pakoda
Hello All,
I am back with a new recipe..Bread Pakoda is an Indian breakfast delicacy and we Indians have been eating this since our childhood.But the best part about it is that you will never get bored of having it as it's too hard to resist and simply amazing.I make bread pakoda whenever I am running short of time and need to serve something special in snacks or breakfast.

Ingredients:-
5 to 6-breads(cut in a triangle shape without removing corners).
3 cups- Chana dal flour(besan)
1-Finely chopped onion
2-Green chillies
1 tspn-Cumin powder
1/2 tspn-Turmeric powder
1 tspn-Red chilli powder
2 pinch-Black pepper powder
1-Egg(optional) for binding.
1 cup-Fresh coriander
1 cup-water
Salt as per taste.
Oil to deep fry.
Method:-
Take the flour in a bowl.
Add onion,green chillies,red chilli powder,turmeric and cumin powder,black pepper powder and salt to the flour.
Add egg to the above mixture and mix well using some water to form a batter like that required in every pakoda.Using egg is optional if you are a vegan.
Heat the oil in a deep pan as we need to deep fry these pakodas.You can even shallow fry it in a non stick pan.
Dip the triangle shaped breads in the batter and put it in oil for frying.
Fry until it turns light golden and crispy.
Fry all the pakodas similarly and place it on a tissue paper for absorbing the extra oil.
Server it either with a ketchup or mint chutney.
Enjoy them with tea!
