Chole Pattice
Hello All,
Eid Mubarak to all of you first of all!We all know Eid is a festival of various delicacies like Biryani,Shirkorma and Sevai.I always expect something spicy along with sweet shirkorma whenever I visit relatives and friends on this auspicious occasion😛.This time I decided to serve Chole Pattice.This version of Chole Pattice is really quick and easy to make so do try it!
Ingredients:
1 packet-Ready made McCain Aloo tikki
100 gms-White kabuli chana(soaked overnight)
3 tspn-Everest Chole masala
1-Onion(finely chopped).
1 -Tomato
1 tspn- Red chilli powder
1 tspn-Coriander powder
Salt to taste.
Oil.
For garnishing:
1-Onion(finely chopped)
1 cup of Coriander and mint leaves finely chopped.
Tamarind Chutney.
Method:
For Chole:
For tikki:
Shallow fry the ready aloo tikki from both the sides until light golden and crispy.
Assembling:
Chole Pattice is ready to be served!!

Method:
For Chole:
- Heat 1 tbspn oil in a cooker.
- Fry 1 finely chopped onion until light golden.
- Add ginger garlic paste and tomato and fry it till the tomato is translucent.
- Add red chilli powder, coriander powder,salt and Everest masala.Fry the masala for two minutes.
- Add the kabuli chana with two cups of water.
- Turn off the gas after 4 to 5 whistles.
For tikki:
Shallow fry the ready aloo tikki from both the sides until light golden and crispy.
Assembling:
- Take a glass pot as shown in photo.
- Place the tikkis at the base and add chole over them.
- Cover the entire tikkis with enough chole masala.
- Now add curd spreading it all over the chole
- Add tamarind Chutney and finely chopped onion.
- Garnish with some fresh coriander and mint leaves 😋.
Chole Pattice is ready to be served!!
