Easiest Sea food starter- Prawn Fry

Hey All, I am back after a long time with a new and delicious recipe of Prawns fry. It is the easiest starter one can make in case of sudden arrival of guests. Do try the below recipe and let me know your comments! 




Serves- 4 
Preparation time- 30 minutes 

Ingredients:

Prawns: 500 gms(Medium Sized)
Ginger Garlic Paste- 2 tspn
Red Chilli Powder- 2 tspn
Coriander Powder- 2 tspn
Turmeric Powder- 1 tspn
Garam masala powder- 1 tspn
Cumin Powder- 1 tspn
Fresh Coriander- Finely chopped
Fresh lime juice- 1 tspn
Salt to taste.
Rice flour- 2 tspn.

Method:

     Cleaning of Prawns:
  • Clean and wash the prawns thoroughly, make sure to remove the black string from stomach of the prawns. Not cleaning it will cause stomach upset.
  • Now put 1 tspn of turmeric powder in the washed prawns and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  • Wash it again to remove the turmeric powder and strain the prawns using a strainer to remove the water.
    Marination and Frying.
  • Marinate the prawns with ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, salt, lime juice and finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Keep it aside for 10 minutes.



  • Now, add the rice flour to the mixture which will add binding to the prawn mixture while frying.
  • Now, heat the oil in a cauldron(kadhai) on medium flame and add the prawns in a batch of 4 each and deep fry on medium flame.
  • Sprinkle some chaat masala and serve hot.
