Homemade Veg Cheese Grilled Sandwich

Hi All,

I am posting a very simple recipe today which is always the best option when we are hungry and counting our calories as well😛. Everyone's favourite and the easiest snack ' Veg Cheese Grilled Sandwich'. I prefer making it at home as it's quality and taste is much better than that available on streets and local restaurants.Do try my style of this sandwich and let me know your comments!



Ingredients:

Cucumber - 3 whole cucumber sliced
Tomato- 3 tomatoes sliced
Capsicum- 1 finely chopped
Wheat bread- 1 loaf.
Butter- To spread on bread slices
Grated cheese- 3 cups.

For mint chutney:
Fresh mint leaves- 4 cups
Fresh coriander- 2 cups
Green chili- 4
Rock salt- 1/2 tspn
Lemon juice- 1 tspn
Cumin power- 1 tspnR
Roasted chana without cover-2 tspn
Chaat masala- 0.5 tspn

Method:
  • Take all ingredients under mint chutney section in the mixer jar and grind it to a thick and consistent paste.
  • Now, first we spread butter and chutney one after another on the bread as shown below:



  • Place all the veggies on the bread as shown below:



  • Now place other bread to cover veggies and toast the sandwich either in a griller or on a tawa.You can also apply ghee to the griller/tawa before grilling the sandwich.
  • As soon as the sandwich is grilled, sprinkle the grated cheese on the hot grilled sandwich as shown below:


  • Serve your yummy mouth watering sandwiches either with the mint chutney or tomato ketchup 😍.

I am sure you will stop having sandwiches in restaurants after you taste these ones☺️.
